Belarus and Sri Lanka have had talks on the devolopment of the legal framework for bilateral relations between both countries, the Belarus Foreign Ministry said.Belarus hosted the third round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Sri Lanka yesterday (August 22). During the meeting the parties discussed the whole range of topical issues of bilateral relations such as regional cooperation, cooperation in the field of culture and the education, health, science and technology. Special attention was paid to the development of the legal framework of bilateral relations, as well as cooperation within international organizations. (Colombo Gazette) The Belarusian side was headed by Valentin Rybakov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. Sri Lankan delegation was headed by G. Asirvatham, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka.
